Unveiling the Lynx Den: University View’s Next Frontier in STEAM Education

As STEAM Director at University View, a virtual charter academy, Wade Henderson brings a unique blend of broadcasting and education expertise to the forefront. With over 30 years in broadcasting, Henderson transitioned to education in 2000, producing “In School.” This paved his way to becoming STEAM Director at University View. Henderson now actively leads the final stages of the University View “Lynx Den” launch.

The Lynx Den, a cutting-edge technology and arts facility, embodies University View’s commitment to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). Students participating in the academy remotely will gain entry to a dedicated physical space equipped with robotics, performing arts stages, art galleries, e-sports gear, and 3D printers, fostering the growth of their talents and interests. The Lynx Den’s official launch is anticipated in January of 2024.
