Baton Rouge Symphony League Shines Through the Decades

On Thursday, April 25th, the Baton Rouge Symphony League hosted their Annual Mad Hatters Luncheon at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Chaired by Tessa Mahler and Co-Chair Sheila Morris, this year’s theme was “Shining Through the Decades” in honor of the Baton Rouge Symphony League’s 75th Anniversary. Mary Jane Dillenberger was the Honorary Chair of the Event. Mary Jane has served as Ball Chairperson, LJA Advisor, and President. She was a member of the board from 2011-2021.

The morning kicked off with a special VIP Party, thanking all of the many sponsors who made the day possible: H&O Grounds, Coleman Consulting Group, LLC, Baton Rouge Parents Magazine/Family Resource Group, Inc., inRegister, Corbin Ladner Custom Homes & Developments, Lamar Advertising Company, Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry, Otey White & Associates,  Raffaele Furs, Gordan McKernan Injury Lawyers, Morris Plumbing & Air, Luckett Portrait Studio, Sigma Engineers and Constructors, and Hair Wellness Center.

Luncheon attendants came donned in outfits highlighting the last 6 decades with diamonds and class. They enjoyed champagne while browsing the many silent auction items donated by local businesses and had a chance to enter a drawing for a Raffaele Fur and a beautiful pair of diamond earrings donated by Lee Michaels.

The latest fashion trends were featured in a fashion show, presented by Lukka, Emily Katherine Boutique, Head Over Heels and Raffaele Furs and emceed by Melanie Hebert and the Mad Hatter himself, Leonard Augustus.
