From Student to Teacher: Ms.Rogers’ Journey in Great Hearts Education
Brianna Rogers, 5th grade teacher at Great Hearts Harveston, shares the experience of both a graduate and teacher within the Great Hearts community. Her journey with Great Hearts began in 2005 when, as a 7th grader, she begged her parents to enroll her in Chandler Prep, drawn to its Socratic style of learning. Raised in Arizona, she credits her parents for instilling a strong work ethic and a love for mathematics.
With a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and a masters in Curriculum & Instruction, Rogers returned to Great Hearts as a teacher in 2020. For Ms. Rogers, the essence of Great Hearts lies in cultivating students’ character, aligning with Aristotle’s belief that true education encompasses both mind and heart. Rogers invites prospective families to tour the school to experience the exceptional educational experience provided.
